Roxanne Christenson

Roxanne Christenson trains all levels of dressage horses and riders at Trilogy Riding Centre, south of Monroe, WA. She has helped numerous amateurs, professionals, and young riders achieve their goals from training to grand prix, and is known for her expert guidance, commitment to excellence, and straight talk.

Roxanne started her competitive riding career as a jumper. After a few years of jumping, she shifted her focus to dressage and has never looked back. In addition to training others, she has successfully shown her own and clients’ horses training through FEI, both in the Northwest and in California. She credits many excellent dressage mentors, trainers, and clinicians in her professional development over the years, and continues to train with leading clinicians. She also is a graduate with distinction of USDF’s L Judge program, and highly recommends it to dressage trainers and competitors wishing to further their education in and understanding of judging and equine biomechanics.

Roxanne has trained out of Trilogy Riding Centre for over ten years, and purchased the facility in 2011 together with Petra Hilleberg. Prior to Trilogy, Roxanne owned and trained out of Woodinville Riding Club for 15 years. Under Roxanne’s direction, Trilogy is a full service competition barn, including riding, training, and sales. It includes 20 stalls, grassy turnout paddocks and fields, indoor and outdoor arenas, and other horse and human amenities. In addition to the horses boarded and trained there, a number of other horses and riders trailer in for lessons on a regular basis.

Roxanne also has helped many of her clients select and purchase high quality dressage horses at all ages and levels. She has found excellent equine partners, at a variety of price points, in the U.S., the Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany, and has guided clients through the buying/selling/shipping process.

Roxanne has a life-long passion for horses and love of dressage. She lives it every day and, as a result, she has earned a devoted following of supportive students; happy, well-trained horses; and a beautiful training facility.
